Aron Medders: President and CEO

With 15 years of programming experience and 10 years experience with Oracle Utilities, formally LODESTAR, Aron is recognized as one of the top experts in the field.  With 14 full projects, and consultations on countless others, Aron has developed many methodologies and techniques that absolutely show results.

Aron started his utilities career as a contractor to Entergy Corporation in 1999 working on a regulated C&I billing system using

LODESTAR's Billing Expert software.



When his contract was complete in 2000, Aron joined LODESTAR Corporation as one of the first people added to the new Professional Services department. During his tenure, he served as subject matter expert and system architect on many implementations including

Transmission Billing

,

Network Settlements,

Pricing and Forecasting.

  Projects ranged from 2-4 person teams up to large integrator assisted projects with 30-40 team members. Aron left

LODESTAR

in 2006 to pursue a career as an independent contractor.

While continuing to work on Oracle Utilities projects, Aron started MAM Squared Consulting, LLC in 2008 to develop the support structure, tools, and utilities that these implementations most often require to be successful.

Steve Doroff: Partner and Director of Strategic Initiatives

Steve was a founder of LODESTAR Corporation, which was acquired by Oracle Utilities in mid 2007. During the eight years with LODESTAR Corporation, Steve helped develop many new products including BillingExpert, LPSS (for market settlement), PricingExpert, LTMH (for transaction management) and Workflow Manager. Steve was also instrumental in developing many of the technologies internal to the LODESTAR product line including the Rules Language, a proprietary rules based language used in almost all LODESTAR products.

Steve worked closely with all existing and potential clients of LODESTAR to understand their specific business needs and ensure that the LODESTAR products were positioned to meet those needs. He was also responsible for helping clients implement and understand the applications. Steve was responsible for envisioning the LODESTAR solutions to ensure that customer’s needs were addressed, which sometimes required establishing alliances with other complimentary software vendors and systems integrators.

Steve joined MAM Squared Consulting as Director of Strategic Initiatives to identify areas within Smart Grid operations and systems where our product lines can be expanded to fill the needs of our current and future customers.
